Keyvision are excited to announce the launch of a new Alamanda Online community portal exclusively for the residents of Villawood Properties’ Alamanda Point Cook estate.

This ‘next generation’ portal has been built at the request of the newly appointed Alamanda Residents’ Committee as provide a superior platform and improved functionality compared to the previous intranet that, although actively utilized, was lacking in many Web 2.0 enhancements.

Improved functionality provides for the upgrade or addition of the following features:

· Advanced Booking Systems for both Tennis Courts and Function Room

· ‘Facebook-style’ social networking interface to allow residents to connect on a more meaningful level - in terms of publishing status updates, interests, photos and videos about themselves, make friends, form or join Groups etc. Residents can also choose to integrate their Alamanda Profile with their Facebook Profile.

· A new Ticketing System to report issues within the community.

· Interactive Alamanda Masterplan, highlighting key community features and facilities.

This portal also provides a much more flexible platform and template interface to allow other enhancements to be simply plugged in, an improved ‘look and feel’ as well as a front end ‘WYSIWYG’ (What You See Is What You Get) editor for dramatically simplified content management.
